Parameters: This exercise is “a situation analysis and description” for the organization that you have already analyzed. Begin at the end of the organizational analysis so that there is continuity. 😉 You will establish the scenario in DETAIL and lead up to what they then did to minimize its effects as a result of pre-planning or no pre-planning. (All hypothetical but realistic in your view.)

All persons mentioned in the case will carry fictitious names. The details of this assignment are deliberately minimal in order for YOU to develop a good model that will illustrate your points. In short, refer to the OA as an introduction by summarizing the characteristics of the organization or business. Identify the threat that becomes real and then describe its effects. You will need to set the stage by how well the organization is or is not prepared for a realistic interruption of processes. From there on, you are controlling the clock and the events that pertain to it. Be detailed in presenting short, medium and long-term activities that follow the onset of the event. Do not close the organization!

Organizational Analysis of AC Solutions
Description of the Organization
AC Solutions deals with the development and sale of intelligent technological systems
used in the collection, storage, and subsequent processing of data. The company was founded in
Seun, Delaware, in the early 1990s and has grown tremendously ever since with operations
across the Americas, Europe, and parts of Asia. It currently employs more than 4000 staff across
different departments and spread out in its many offices across the globe. AC Solutions’ primary
products are the web-based software solution installed and used by the client’s hardware and
associated equipment.
The organization offers its products to medium, large, and small businesses in different
sectors, including banking, medical, finance, insurance, and others that deal with the collection
and storage of customer data. There is a wide array of data that the entities gather from their
clients, which may range from the customers’ data to the company’s proprietary data. The
products offered by AC Solutions stand out in the competitive ICT market in that they provide
clients with a wide array of options such as analytics and, at the same time, have the highest level
of security. Their packages have also been suitably developed to cater to different clients; they
are compatible with different operating systems, can be scaled up or down, and can be modified
based on the needs of the customer. AC Solutions also provides its clients with the option of
support services on a periodic arrangement based on the package of choice.
Company Performance
AC Solutions receives close to 80 percent of its revenue from its operating offices
through direct sales of the systems and maintenance fees charged. During the fiscal year 2019,
the main objective was to be a leader by selling the best systems with exemplary features that

would outmatch those of the competitors. The company sold and provided unique customer
service, which led to $800 million in profits after taxation from sales revenue for the 2019 fiscal
year. The organization’s ideals are founded to provide superior customer service that has allowed
it to maintain a high level of customer loyalty. The tremendous performance is evident in how
the company has grown since its inception and is now widening its market in Central Europe and
parts of Asia. The growth in the global locations has shown varied performance primarily
because of financial performance, the level of maturity of the market, the local competition and
business practices, and economic conditions.
By choosing to selectively choose its next market and increasing sales in the existing
markets, the company has been able to support its long-term strategy of being a leader. In the
previous financial year, the company’s product line came out on top of its competition based on
how technological advances and numerous security features gave it advantages over other
systems available in the market. AC Solutions continued on its path of success through sales and
acquisitions and joint ventures within the overseas technology market and consistently ensured
that it had sustainable growth. Other revenue sources for AC Solutions have been through
royalties and copyright licenses sale for some of its flagship products to third party
organizations.
The company also performed well in attracting and retention of staff. AC Solutions’
exemplary performance can be attributed to a highly-skilled workforce. The organization has
always placed great importance on the development of its staff through different training and
mentorship programs (Kuipers and Giurge, 2017). As a result of the success of the training
programs, it was able to attract, retain, and maintain a highly skilled and motivated pool of
employees thanks to its massive investments. The HR performance and related activities

interconnect and affect other aspects of the business, including staff engagement, staff security,
