Intro and background paragaph, must read 2 articles, minimum 400 words

I’m studying for my English class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

Introduction (1 paragraph)

• Create a hook to grab your audience’s attention.
• Identify the problem that you are writing about.
• State your thesis: your general ideas for how to solve the problem you’re writing about. (Your thesis for the draft can be general. You will work on making your thesis more specific next week.)

Background (1 paragraph)

• Include at least one background paragraph. In the background paragraph, give an overview of the problem in order to convince your audience that this problem is worth caring about.
  • Explain some negative consequences this problem creates in society.
  • Incorporate into your draft information from two articles ((required))
  • 1 “The Impact of Poverty, Food Insecurity, and Poor Nutrition on Health and Well-Being”
  • 2 “Wasted”
  • You may also add personal experiences and observations related to the topic
