This is an outline of proposed assignments and
examinations and quizzes, it may be modified by the
professor, and all students will be notified in class, by mail
or through Blackboard if changes apply:
RESEARCH PAPER: To meet this requirement you will be
required to write a 5 page paper on one of the following topic: A
woman in the law who has had an impact on your life or on
your community, this woman can be a hidden figure, not in
books or on anyone’s radar. Your paper should include: why
and how she impacted your life or your community: give
examples and descriptions of her activities; what that person
is doing now, etc.; include biographical information on that
person and more. Be sure to cite to your sources within the
body of your paper where appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS: (1) The 5-page paper does not include the
title page or bibliography. Use separate pages for the title page
and the bibliography; (2) write full-complete pages. Each
substantive page is worth 20 points, excluding the title and
bibliography pages. You will be penalize for failure to provide a
bibliography page; (3) the Paper must be typed in 12 point font
and double spaced and follow the university standard for writing
papers. The rescarch paper must be turned in on time to receive
full credit. Final full paper is due Tuesday November 26, 2019.
Late papers will receive a 10-point grade deduction for each
day the paper is late and that’s cumulative!! YOU WILL BE
