The proposal will work as follows: The process here is to identify a topic in economics (or closely related field) you would like to run a lab experiment on. That is, you will first identify a question of interest in economics that you believe can be investigated using experimental methods, followed by how you would attack the problem (specifying the broad outline of an experimental design), and hypotheses to be investigated. You will then write up a “research proposal.” I would like the research proposal on gender effects however I am open to other ideas for the proposal.
