Imagine that you have been asked to consult on a wildlife management program re-certification process for a mid-sized organization. The current training program involves a hands-on course for planning and executing patrol routes. The organization is seeking options for a more informative, cost-effective measure for training needs analysis, skills gap diagnosis, and curriculum design.

Prepare a Powerpoint presentation in which you propose using a job knowledge test to replace the hands-on test for land navigation skills of wildlife biology technicians. Consider that the hands-on test currently in place addresses planning, location, direction, and movement skills across diverse, difficult terrain. Include information about about ethical and legal issues considerations of the test, and the merits or drawbacks of using a job knowledge test, versus the existing hands-on test.
