Case scenario in project manager: The Costco project is it a little out of my norm in my experience as a project manager at this company, but I know we’ve done projects very much like it before. It sure would be useful if I could look back over those similar projects and use that information to help inform my estimates for this project. However, we are victims of our own record keeping. Over 5000 project efforts out there in the shared division server. The question is: How do I find the ones that are like mine? It’s like looking for a needle in a very large haystack! Any suggestion? How might a PMIS help us here?
