Choose one of the following two assignments to complete this week. Do not do both assignments. Identify your assignment choice in the title of your submission.
OPTION #1: TEAM LEADERSHIP AND THE EXECUTION PHASE: LEADER-MEMBER EXCHANGE (LMX) THEORY
Perform the following Self Assessments from Chapter 7 in your textbook: 7-1, 7-2, and 7-3. In a well-written paper, describe the LMX Theory and its applicability to your role as:
a follower in a current or former relationship with a real-world manager, and
a leader in an actual or hypothetical project management situation.
For this submission, please draw upon what you learned from completing the above Self Assessments. Provide the raw results as evidence of completion of Self Assessments 7-1, 7-2, and 7-3 as appendices.
Submission Requirements:
Prepare a 3- to 4-page paper (not including the required cover/title and reference pages and any appendices you may have) addressing your assignment requirements above.
Select at least three credible, peer-reviewed, scholarly sources (published within the last five years) from the CSU-Global Library. These should be in addition to course textbooks, required or recommended readings, or lecture material that you decide to use.
Format your entire paper according to the CSU-Global Guide to Writing & APA (Links to an external site.).
Be clear, concise, and focused. Be sure to properly organize your writing. After the title on page 2, include an introduction with a thesis and mapping for your paper. Include headings/subheadings for the body of your work as well as analysis and recommendations (if applicable), a conclusion, list of references, and any appendices.
