Batman vs Superman
Batman and Superman are the two most popular superheroes of the DC comic
universe. Superman is an alien from the planet krypton send to earth by his parents
when his home planet was destroyed. Upon coming to earth he realized that the rays of
the sun from this new planet granted him superpowers. Batman on the other hand
doesn’t have any superpowers but his traumatic past (the murder of his billionaire
parents as a child) pushed him to fight crime with his technological advanced suit in his
hometown of Gotham- a crime filled metropolis.
Although Batman is a force to reckon with ,being one of the most feared superheroes in
the dc universe Superman has god like powers .superman is capable of flying at the
speed of light and shooting laser out of his eyes these powers are no match for Batman
but still Batman has in the past managed to defeat Superman using his cunning and
intelligence. So, it’s a very debatable topic on who would win in a fight but as far as
strength and powers go Superman is far superior to Batman. But I feel like Batman is a
better hero because he never kills anybody whereas Superman has a devastating death
count, and that is not exactly a hero like quality. Also Batman has always been selfless
in his heroic acts because he has close to no family and friends and his mission is his
whole life whereas Superman never chose to be a superhero he felt obligated to all he
wants from life was to live a normal life with his wife.
Hence Batman spends his entire life trying to fight for justice and Superman feels a
moral obligation to do so which makes Batman stand apart as a hero of good character,
because Batman has chosen to lose or get in harm’s way rather than take a life on
multiple occasions but Superman never had any moral considerations of that sort hence
overall Batman is the better superhero.
