Diversifying Comcast
This paper aims to identify the challenges that Comcast encountered in transforming the
organization’s culture into one that fosters diversity and inclusion. Along with the challenges, this
paper hopes to establish the cause of the problem, the significance of addressing the problem, steps
needed to find a possible solution, and learning what factors co in the decision-making process.
This paper also aims to identify best practices and other examples implemented by other
organizations in the same industry that may be beneficial in getting employees and leadership buyin. Because understanding the role that leadership plays is critical to the success contributed
program, it is equally essential to establish a model that will be effective during the implementation
of programs directed towards fostering a welcoming environment for minorities working in the
