Asymptotic stability of a system
Stable, marginally stable, and unstable systems
Instructions:

Please complete the following lab assignment tasks associated with this lab:

Complete all steps and questions apart of the Lab Manual
Remote access the lab equipment through a VPN (see Remotely Connect to Lab Computers instructions for help)
Run the LabVIEW program following the steps below:
Open LabVIEW 2017 (32-bit)
Download the LabVIEW LabExercises.lvproj and Lab_Stability_MME436.vi files
Open the LabVIEW LabExercises.lvproj file
From within the LabExercises.lvproj file, open the Lab_Stability_MME436.vi file
If needed set the parameter values and then click run (Ctrl+R)
Log off of the computer to allow your classmates to use the computer
Submit the response of MATLAB Simulink model when a 2 V step input is applied.

complete the 8 questions in the lab manual.

Q6:

Based on the position response and the BIBO stability principle, what is the stability of the transfer function relating output angular displacement to input voltage?

Group of answer choices

Marginally Stable

Q7:

What is an BIBO definition of marginal stability?

Group of answer choices
An output is marginally stable if, for every bounded input, there is an exponentially bounded output.

An output is marginally stable if, for every bounded input, there is a linear bounded output.

It is not possible to define marginal stability in terms of bounds on inputs and outputs.
