Walden University W 8 Racial Profiling of Black Community Essay If you are collecting phone or face-to-face interviews, the audio recorder is the most important tool for ensuring accuracy in capturing the interview. In addition, you may or may not want to take notes during the interview.
If you are conducting e-mail interviews, format your document using the following guidelines:
The questions are clearly numbered.
The language is clear.
The entire protocol is included.
Include a way to reach you (e-mail or phone) should the participant have questions.
Remember to take notes for your audit trail of your prep work for the interview. As soon as possible, write down everything going through your head when the interview is concluded.

How hard was it to find people to interview?- it wasn’t hard finding people it was difficult getting people to respond and accept
Which interview format was used: e-mail or other electronic media (social media, text apps), in person, or by phone (including Skype, FaceTime, and WhatsApp)?- 1. email and 1.by phone
Was this your preference?- each preference was that of the interviewee. What was the process of setting the appointment and working out the format? we communicated via email and telephone to arrange a date and time that worked with both our schedules

Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me regrinding this sensitive issue of racial
profiling of the black population by police in the United States. Young black males are the most
profiled, and we would like to have your opinion on this social issue and how it has affected you
as a young black male in this country.

a. If you work in a white-collar profession, please name the profession that you
work in?

4. Do you believe the issue of racial profiling on blacks by police offers in America is an
issue that happens?
5. Have you ever been stopped and questioned by the police?
a. If yes, how did they treat you
b. Do you think they treated you with the dignity that is always shown to white
males?
c. Explain how differently you think the police treated you?
6. Did the police let you go or did they arrest you?
