I found an interesting article form The Wall Street Journal, below are the two questions to consider:
1. After property owner Simon buying the J.C. Penney stores, and given Changing shopping habits, the growth of e-commerce,
and now social distancing, what marketing strategies that Simon can use to bring more customers shop in the malls
2. By losing 2 or more anchor tenants, it could trigger the co-tenancy clauses. The other tenants may also be allowed to
terminate their lease without penalty. Simon is buying the anchor tenants to stimulate other tenant stores opening, will it
be profitable in the investment in the long term? What marketing channels should Simon choose to make it more profitable?
