Eng 102 ASU Solving Homelessness From A Complex Systems Perspective In Los Angeles Discussion For this assignment, I’m asking you to tap into the homeless person problem that Los Angeles faces
and write a proposal that advocates for change in Los Angeles. Rather than simply call attention to the problem as Klum did, I want you to propose real, actionable steps one can take to actively affect change.

Aside from your introduction and conclusion paragraphs, your essay should be broken down into three segments (just as Klum did in his talk): The Dream, which explores the topic as it should be in its ideal state; The Reality, which explains the issue at hand, what is causing the issue, and what’s at stake; and A Proposed Solution, which advocates for change and instructs community members on how they can actively improve the situation.

In addition to implementing rhetorical strategies and persuasive techniques (like Klum) to inform and persuade your audience, your essay should provide enough context into the topic so that an outsider to the subject is able to fully understand or comprehend what you’re talking about—and most importantly why you’re talking about it. I want this essay to be a serious and relevant endeavor that clearly and undeniably reflects your passion for the topic.
