Clayton State University CIA Triads Network Security Research Paper Confidentiality, integrity, and availability, also known as the CIA triad, is a model designed to guide policies for information security within an organization. Computer security is accomplished using many different systems, but the fundamental concepts are all rooted in the CIA triad. Confidentiality is preventing the disclosure of secure information to unauthorized individuals or systems. Integrity is maintaining and assuring the accuracy of data over its life-cycle.
