San Diego State University Healthy Behavior to Change Essay Overall Assignment: Pick a specific health behavior that you would like to change during this summer course. I want you to reflect on some of the theories and techniques described in Chapter 4 to develop and implement a plan for change for this specific behavior.
You will pick a health behavior in this first week of the summer term, monitor that behavior for a week to understand the contexts in which the behavior is most (least) likely to occur. You will then use one of the theories to develop and implement a plan for behavior change being specific to your theory. You will continue to monitor your progress throughout. Finally, you will evaluate your plan and make any recommendations necessary to be successful.
In your Blog #1 post, state which behavior you wish to change (2 points) and report on what you found during your monitoring period (10 points). Report on what happened all week with regard to that specific health behavior (due by Tuesday, July 14).
