General Instructions:
• You must prepare schedules showing how all numbers you calculate are calculated.
• A schedule is NOT the presentation of unlabeled (or even labeled) numbers in a set of
parentheses next to the number calculated! READ THAT AGAIN!!!!!
o Schedules clearly label all of the items used in a calculation. The resulting calculations
flow to the appropriate places on worksheets or other schedules.
• You must prepare a consolidation workpaper for each of the problems. Be sure your elimination
entries are clearly identified (that is, be sure you have a memo/reference column.
• Also, be sure all the numbers in your worksheet are clearly identified in schedules so that a
reviewer could easily locate the source of any of your elimination entries. [Note that this is not
necessary if you are doing entries such as eliminating the entire balance in a stockholde rs’
equity account)
• Submit only one workbook. The workbook will have three sheets—one for problem 1, one for
problem 2, and one for problem 3. Be sure those tabs/sheets are clearly identified.
• Be sure your worksheets are clearly labeled and your schedules are easily identified and located.
