International Astronomical Union Literature of Food Reflection Please read the word attachment bellow and fix the grammar, world choice, etc.Also, you can add to it that I am not usually eating junk foods. I always try to be more healthy but I do have one day in the week that I eat whatever that is not healthy like fast food. I like sweets chocolate, cake. I like nuts and different salads.Literature of Food Prompt: During this week’s class you got an overview of the food literature genre. Compose an initial response to the class in which you answer the following questions: What role(s) does food currently play in your life? What is your current relationship with food? Are you a “foodie,” “a junk food junkie,” “a health nut”? Does it depend on the day? Explain. Also, tell me what your current strengths and weaknesses are as a writer and storyteller. What do you hope to work on in this class this semester? What are your initial thoughts about spending an entire semester reading and writing about food? Food
Food is one of life’s greatest pleasure because you not just taste different flavors or
different type of foods rather you taste different culture different background of
people and you can feel the diversity when you going to different places like Italian
restaurant or Spanish or Korean BBQ so, this is how the stories begin behind each
food you can go beyond the fairytales. Sometimes I smell of foods that remind me of
my country I know it different food but still some flavors it taking me backs to my
country.
I think this is art like the drawing that each person has their own style is the same
for the food too the recopies are different and which it makes them more special and
also, who we spend our time to go out and try food is special is a lot of emotions
involves because we are communicating and socializing.
One of my concern and weakness is writing because English is being my second
language, sometimes I am writing in English like I am writing in Farsi, which does
not make any sense to the audience and did not deliver clearly. Also, when I am
trying to write a story sometimes is taking to long because I am over thinking and it
does not let me be free and bring all my thoughts on the paper. Usually I have ideas
or story to write about and I got very excited about it and I start to write but in the
middle of it I cannot go further or how to finish my stories.
I am very excided about this course and I am ready to learn and grow. And I try my
best to improve my writing skills because I know is going to be more storytelling
involved.
