National Louis University Developmental Niche Discussion Part 1

Describe your developmental niche as described in “Points to Ponder – Understanding Your Developmental Niche on page 20 of the Gardiner text.
The post should be at least 3 paragraphs, 1 paragraph for each of the 3 components of a developmental niche (physical and social settings, customs of child care and child-rearing and psychology of the caregivers) and 250-300 words.

Part 2

Describe at least two examples of your socialization experiences. Include 1) the agents; 2) their practices and 3) their effects on your beliefs, values and behavior. Keep in mind the range of settings from which you can choose agents to discuss: family, school, work, the media, etc.
The post should be at least 3 paragraphs. In 1 paragraph describe the agent or agents and the setting and environment. In a second paragraph describe their socializing behaviors directed toward you. In paragraph 3 describe the effects of the socialization on your beliefs, values and behavior. The post must be at least 250-300 words.

Part 3

In one paragraph, describe the Big Five Personality Traits that you feel apply to you to the extent you think they are valid.
In a second paragraph, discuss why or why not you think the traits you have identified are valid
In a third paragraph, discuss your experience with the Test for Vocational Fit and how accurate you think it to be.
Your initial post (approximately 200-250 words) should address each question in the discussion directions
