I need support with this Social Science question so I can learn better.
1. Write a reflective essay using at least 5 of the 7 assigned materials (you can use all of them), make sure to cite your sources using APA and attach an APA reference page. The reflective essay should be 300 to 500 words. You can go over. Please note that if you did the extra credit, Crip Camp, it also can be included in addition to your summary and reflection below.
2. You were assigned the NPR reading, Why People Are Rethinking The Words ‘Crazy’ And ‘Insane.’ For this part of the discussion board, you need to find a song that negatively uses the word crazy to depict someone with mental health needs. The song should be no more than 5 years old.
3. Provide the name of the song along with a link so your peers can find the song and listen to it. Include the part of the lyrics that are relevant to your discussion about the word, “crazy.”
4. Provide a reflective essay that discusses the song and why and how culture and mainstream media continues to perpetuate the stereotypes and stigma. You are expected to find at least two outside sources for this reflective essay. Make sure to include them in your APA reference page and you should cite them in your reflective essay. This reflective essay should be 300 to 500 words. Again you can go over, but not under.
