Need help with my Political Science question – I’m studying for my class.

Was any portion of your state under pre-clearance between 1965 and 2013 under the Voting Rights Act? How did voter turnout (particularly among minorities) in your state change in the decades between 1965 and 2013?
Has your state made any drastic changes in its electoral rules since Shelby County v. Holder (2013)? For instance, Texas and North Carolina have received attention for quickly and drastically altering their electoral rules (arguably to engage in voter suppression) since no longer being under clearance.
