I need support with this English question so I can learn better.
Character Assignment.
Brainstorm for a bit about what type of character you want to include in your story. Think about age, personality, and what the character might want. Remember to think about an external goal (something physical) and an internal goal (something personal).
For example: KC really wants a car and does everything to get it. Internally, even if the character is not aware of it, what KC really wants is freedom.
The plot development and character developing work side by side.
Assignment,
- Come up with an idea for a main character. You are not tied to this character; you can change for your actual fairy tale.
- List five details about that character (physical, mental, etc.)
- List four physical things your character could want.
- List three skills or lessons your character might need in order to succeed.

Choose ONE of the Cinderella-type stories in our textbook that you read this week. Consider the shape of that story (how the story worked) and discuss the characters. Which ones are important and why? Which ones moved the plot forward and how? Which ones do not move the plot forward?
Finally, discuss whether or not the version you choose followed Vonnegut’s idea for a Cinderella story (loosely, not literally).
