I don’t know how to handle this English question and need guidance.

This discussion is simple, and only has two parts:

1. Introduce yourself to the rest of the class–please also state your preferred name and pronouns (e.g., he, she, they, etc.). Tell us anything you’d like to know about yourself AND what level of familiarity you have with the field of LGBTQ+ literature. Then, respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts.*
2. Critically reflect on one (1) thing you have learned from this unit. Explain how this lesson has impacted your perception and understanding of the contemporary LGBTQ+ community, by relating this lesson to something that you’ve recently seen in the news. (For references, please include a link to the news article in your post)

*NOTE: While for this week you are being asked to respond to at least two (2) of your peers’ posts, hereafter, you will only have to respond to one (1) peer per week.
