I don’t understand this Psychology question and need help to study.

Designated Topic: Myth “human memory works like a tape recorder or video camera”

The paper must be typed, double spaced, 12-point font, 1” margins, and include title and reference pages. In addition, the paper needs to be at least 3-5 pages in length, not including title or reference pages. The paper MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK, No plagiarism. Writing quality will be taken into account when grading.

The purpose of the project is not to verbalize your personal opinion on the myth. Instead, use reputable, scientific sources to introduce the topic, argue the science, and conclude, based on the information you’ve researched. Utilize at least 2 empirical, scientific sources (separate from any textbook or provided resource).
