INSTRUCTIONS
Choose one visual artist that you find interesting. Using three different websites find information about your
chosen visual artist. Upload at least 3 examples of their work. In the accompanying essay, explain why you like the
work, information that you have learned about the artist and their technique and discussion whether the work has a social/political/cultural/historical or other personal meaning. This essay is not meant to be a biography. I am more
interested in why you are attracted to the work and what you personally think it is about and what you derive from
it. The written portion must be one (1) page. Do not place your selected images in the body of your essay,
they must be presented in a separate on a separate page at the end of your essay, copy and paste.
