1. In the context of the interwar years and World War II, describe and evaluate the impacts of different political, economic, socio-cultural or religious civilizations on Western Civilization.
I know this is a broad question. It was designed by the department to help evaluate history courses. For this question, you could focus on the differences between liberal regimes ( US, GB, France), Fascist regimes (Italy and Germany) and Communism (The Soviet Union).

2. In the context of the Cold War era, describe and evaluate the impacts of different political, economic, socio-cultural or religious systems on Western civilization.
For this question, I suggest that you think about the Cold War and how it impacted places differently (compare the US and West Europe to Eastern Europe. You could talk about the differences between capitalist and communist systems
