Religon Questions

I need support with this Philosophy question so I can learn better.

Choose two of the following four questions and write a 2-3 page essay for each. Make sure your answers are clear and well organized. This exam is your opportunity to show what you learned in the course. Be sure to reference any course materials you feel will contribute to your answer.

The questions are as follows:

(1) By using three thinkers from the course, highlight their contributions to the academic study of religion and how they broke with the more traditional approach of theology. Essentially, your answer should draw-out the difference between religious studies and theology.

(2) Following William James and Rudolf Otto, explain the central features of mysticism and phenomenology. Include in your answer, James’ Four Marks of Mystical Experience and Otto’s Mysterium Tremendum.

(3) Explain the discipline of anthropology as it relates to the study of religion. Your answer should incorporate thinkers such as Emile Durkheim, E.B. Tyler, Victor Turner, Edith Turner, etc.

(4) Provide an account of fundamentalism in the modern world. What are its characteristics? How does it apply to conflict resolution/international politics? How does it apply to religious skepticism?
