Need help with my English question – I’m studying for my class.

• Both the Egyptian born Italian-French singer Dalida and the American popstar Madonna have acquired “Diva” status. Upon a comparison of their lives/talents, we can identify similarities but many differences. Outline these similarities and differences and conclude as what it is that makes a singer a diva.
• What does Faustus’s last soliloquy tell us about Faustus? Does it reveal change in Faustus’s attitude from his first soliloquy? Refer to specific lines in the play to support your argument.
• The image most people have of Cleopatra comes from her depiction in movies, mainly those produced in Hollywood. Most of us are more than satisfied with that image and are willing to adopt it. However, a critical examination 1) of past events, 2) of piecing things together, and 3) of reference to primary sources, is most likely to shatter that image of Cleopatra. What do the primary sources tell us that Hollywood fails to or refuses to tell us?
