I’m stuck on a English question and need an explanation.

I think you are moving along on a good track, and you have a good handle on the “conversation thus far. However, I do think you should focus on a few things as you proceed:

1. Your focus needs to be sharper – WHY are you writing about this? Are your friends/family affected? Etc.
2. How can you narrow this down? Would you like to discuss the U.S. or another country? Plenty of folks in the U.S. are ready to be over the lockdown, so what does that tell you? What about other countries?
3. You could throw in some other countries for balance; for example, why does Vietnam have so few deaths? What about Korea?

Above all – why should we care what you are writing about? What new “twist” can you bring in to the conversation that I can’t get from Googling/reading news reports?

• You are NOT writing a report, but a paper that explores a particular question regarding your chosen issue.
• You will not “find” the answer to your question in your research, but must come to your OWN answer, based on the information you find.
• Your answer should be complex, avoid “duh” statements, and add something to the conversation.
