I’m trying to study for my Law course and I need some help to understand this question.

1.Three ways to measure the success of a program is by making sure that that the program is detailed written for improvement, then through assessments of the program, and gaining the proper funding for the program. When making sure that the program is written out in detail, there should also be a base line for the funding cost of the program, this shows you about what amount in dollars are needing to be collected for the program. The assessment is in my opinion is then a test run of data collected to show the pros and cons of what turn the program can take, and how it may be a beneficial factor towards a growing organization. Lastly, to obtain the proper funding we have to seek out sources that may be interested in the program. In order to do these things we must see what can our organizational program give to the funding holders that they don’t already have, how can they make a differences in the visions we see. I believe these methods are essential to the grant writing process, because it shows the future of the program and how the right funding numbers can possibly progress a successful program or organization.

2.The ability to measure program success is critical as it increases organizational awareness, creates and reinforces a desire for change. Continuous program measure allows for observation, assessment, and points whether expectations are being met or not. If the results do not meet expectations, adjustments are made and the cycle repeats.

Depending on the program, success can be measured based on improvement and positive results. For example, financial results and improved profitability. An assessment tool is also a common way that can provide detailed documentation about a program. Understanding how the program is viewed by others is also a way to measure program success. There are many tools and techniques that an organization can use to identify and assess a measure of satisfaction and acceptance of a program.

Measuring the success of a program is an essential part of grant writing because donors will always ask how you will know if your ideas are succeeding. Reassuring the donor that you have a strong evaluation component can help increase your chances of getting the grant.
