Research Paper: Causes of Jail Overcrowding

STUDENTS WILL WRITE A 7 PAGE PAPER OUTLINING THE MAJOR CAUSES OF JAIL CROWDING.

Guidelines:

1. Contents: Identify and describe 1.) Major causes of jail overcrowding, and 2.) 3-6 viable alternatives to alleviate jail crowding
2. APA: You must use APA style (your paper should ‘sound’ academic and should be research-based NOT opinion-based) and format for citations, references page, and page format. I know that you reviewed all of this in the Junior Seminar!
3. Sources:All sources must be from verifiable correctional journal articles – I suggest using the library’s ddatabases to find your articles.
4. Length: You must include an APA title and references page and the body of the paper should be 7 pages. (Your final paper, including your title and references pages should be about 9 pages in length).
