The reflection paper will analyze any overarching themes from the textbook readings for the week (2 pages), then discuss how the theme or any concepts covered that week connect to the student’s personal or professional life or the community they live in (2 pages). Each reflection paper will be 4 pages in length (double-spaced), and will be due by the end of the week’s assigned readings. For example, if a student chooses Week 2: Federalism, the reading reflection paper will be due by the end of week 2, May 18 at 11:59pm.
It is very important you focus on overarching themes rather than providing a brief summary of each chapter separately. Think about what the chapters have in common, or how they are different. What are the main concepts from the readings, and how are they related? You could even critique one chapter while comparing it to the next one. For full credit, discuss ALL assigned chapters from the week from the O&C and M&T books, if both are assigned.
I will assign you two weeks based on your submitted choices during the first week of class.
