Next, connect your review of The President to key areas from chapter seven on Authoritarianism in our Comparative Politics textbook. Finally, after identifying key characteristics of the president’s governmental style and the effects it has had on the population described in The President, select a country that that has a similar governmental system, structure and style as depicted in the book.

The first part, your brief review, can describe areas like the setting, characters and their role in The President, and also demonstrate how the president and the state determine each citizen’s life and the country overall.
