1. What is your educational background? What schools did you attend? Did you go to school in another state or country?
2. What are your academic and career goals?
3. How do you feel about writing? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What do you hope to learn in this class?
4. Describe a writing assignment that you either enjoyed or received a good grade on in school. Why do you think you enjoyed the assignment and earned a good grade on it?
5. What writing activities do you enjoy or engage in outside of school (texting, blogging, tweeting, journaling, etc.)? What do you write about and how often do you do it?
6. What do you like to read for pleasure? If you don’t like to read, why do you believe this is so?
