Assignment Objectives:

• Expand awareness of the prevalence of bioethics related items in the news and in the culture.
• Provide practice in summarizing, analyzing and judging various types of media.
• Develop the skill of delivering an oral report.

Assignment:

Students are asked to choose an interesting bioethics related podcast, reputable web/newspaper/magazine/journal article, or reliable news video that has recently been released/published. Following this checklist, students prepare an oral report for the class. While a ppt. or other presentation platform may be used for the oral report, only the completed checklist will be handed in for grading.
