ENGL 120 Fiction Short Story

I’m trying to study for my English course and I need some help to understand this question.

Hello! I’m looking for aid with a short story! Instructions are as follows

Write an original Fiction Story of your choosing.

1. At the top of the first page include your name.
2. Each story is to be between three to five pages in length. Please do not exceed the five page maximum limit. The reason for this restriction is because most magazines will not even look at a story if it is not formatted correctly, or if it runs longer than maximum length.
3. Each story is to be double spaced (not single and not 1.5)
4. Use one inch margins.
5. Use 12 point font Verdana or Times New Roman
6. Please be sure to review rules for proper punctuation and paragraphing for the entire work and specifically for dialogue.

Include a cover letter with each story. The cover letter is the first page of your document. You will submit only ONE document that includes both the cover letter and the story.
The letter is designed to be an informal discussion between the learner and the facilitator, where you will address the following:

• Express joys or concerns about the project
• What process did you go through to complete the assignment?
  • How did you start? What pre-writing technique(s) do you use?
  • How many drafts? What is your editing technique? Etc.Is there any aspect of the story that was more difficult/a struggle for you than others?
• Is there any aspect of the story that was easier for you to write than others?
• What is the one area you want me to comment on?
