2.4 Assignment: Turnitin – Ethical Dilemmas

Help me study for my Social Science class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

1. Review Chapters 1 and 3 of Meeting the Ethical Challenges of Leadership. As you read, think about any legal or ethical challenges you may have had in your past.
2. Read the article “Top Risks for Legal and Compliance Leaders in 2018” .
3. Using the resources of the Off Campus Library Service (OCLS), conduct a search for three articles discussing ethical or legal dilemmas faced by companies. These dilemmas may be the result of leadership traits or they may arise from a conflict in values (e.g., loyalty to employees versus responsibility to protect the environment).
   1. All of the articles must be from credible sources.
   2. Two of the articles must deal with an ethical issue.
   3. One of the articles must deal with a legal issue.
4. Using MS Word, write a 600- to 800-word research paper in which you:
   1. Identify the types of ethical or legal challenges discussed in the three articles. Determine which type of shadow, as described in Chapter 1 of Meeting the Ethical Challenges of Leadership, best describes each ethical challenge. Determine what legal or regulatory issue describes the legal challenge. Provide a detailed evaluation that demonstrates clear, insightful critical thinking.
   2. Evaluate the ethical and legal challenges of the three articles using White’s Five Biblical Business Principles discussed in 1.4 Assignment: Turnitin – My Light and Shadows. Which biblical principle, if any, does each ethical or legal challenge violate? Provide a detailed evaluation that demonstrates clear, insightful critical thinking.
5. Use proper spelling, grammar, and APA formatting for your research paper. (Note: cover pages, academic sources, reference pages, etc. do not count towards the word length requirement in your paper.) For questions on APA Style, go to OCLS APA Writing Styles Guides.
6. When you have completed your assignment, save a copy for yourself (name your assignment “LastName _EthicalDilemmas”) and submit a copy to your instructor by the end of the workshop (Turnitin will be enabled).
