COM-475-COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGNS

Topic: Prevention of drug and substance abuse

As a group, you will create various aspects of a communication campaign. Students are encouraged to keep an open dialogue throughout the semester with the instructor to gain approval and guidance on their project. For Part 1 of this project do the following:

1. As a group, choose a contemporary topic in need of a communication campaign.
2. In 250-500 words, explain why this topic warrants a communication campaign and      briefly describe the demographics and psychographics of your target audience.
3. Use a minimum of five sources to support the topic you chose and the rationale for the communication campaign.

Solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines.
