Psychologists Prescriptive Movement Discussion Paper There is a growing movement in the United States to allow clinical psychologists to prescribe medication. Two states, Louisiana and New Mexico, already allow script writing privileges after completing additional requirement. In your post, discuss your opinion of this change? Do you believe that clinical psychologists should be allowed to write prescriptions? Why or why not? In what ways might this practice benefit patients?
