>> Often in my work, I’m presented with ethical dilemmas. Let me give you an example. A young teen came to me and expressed that she was feeling depressed and often doesn’t feel like she wanted to live. She said that she’s tired of fighting with her family, and she has no friends. I encouraged her to talk to her parents about her issue. She started crying and said that she couldn’t possibly talk to her parents, and if I told her parents anything about this situation, she wouldn’t come see me anymore. What would you do in this situation?
>> This is what happened to me today. I work with individuals who are mentally ill. During a session, my client, Shawn, started to have terrible chest pains. I knew I needed to get him to the hospital. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to drive with clients, and the authorized driver on staff called in sick today. I had quite a decision to make. What would you do in this situation?
>> Earlier today, I had a situation occur, and I really need your help with it. A professional next door to me came in and talked to me about a relationship that he’s having with one of his clients. And it’s not only just a relationship. It’s a sexual relationship. I just don’t know what to do.
