Georgia Institute of Technology Triple Aim System in Health Care Paper Address the issues listed in the Triple Aim and explain how engineers, managers, scientists, analysts, and policy graduates have as much to contribute as Georgia Tech graduates who will become physicians and other clinicians with direct contact with patients.
We have stressed all semester that the significant turmoil in the healthcare sector is the result of a complete transformation currently underway in the industry. Furthermore, we have seen that the skill sets of Georgia Tech graduates are badly needed in order for the changes to result in the achievement of the Triple Aim:
Improving the patient experience of care (including quality and satisfaction);
Improving the health of populations; and
Reducing the per capita cost of health care.
