In this activity you are asked to break three informal norms. Repeat, INFORMAL NORMS. Do not break any laws. When you break these informal norms be aware of people’s reactions. Do you receive positive/negative sanctions? What are those sanctions? Understand that if you only receive positive sanctions then you have not broken a norm within that social group. For this assignment you must receive a negative sanction for your act to count as deviance. These cannot be past acts of deviance, but ones that you do specifically for this assignment.

Your assignment is to list the three informal norms and your deviance, then briefly describe the reactions you earned for that deviance. So for each provide it the following order: 1) One sentence defining each informal norm. Remember a behavior is not a norm, there has to be a rule about that behavior ; 2) One sentence describing the deviance; and 3) Two sentences for the reactions. You must include both your own and other peoples’ reactions. In these two sentences you must use at least one term from Goffman’s Dramaturgical Approach.

The paper need to be

1) Typed and Double‐Spaced

2) In outline form

This is how it should look

I. (Roman number gotta be one sentence defining the first informal norm) A. (One sentence describing the deviance that you did that broke that norm B. (Two sentences for the reactions. You must include both your own and other peoples’ reactions. In these two sentences you must use at least one term from Goffman’s Dramaturgical Approach)

II. (Roman number gotta be one sentence defining the second informal norm) A. (One sentence describing the deviance that you did that broke that norm) B. (Two sentences for the reactions. You must include both your own and other peoples’ reactions. In these two sentences you must use at least one term from Goffman’s Dramaturgical Approach)

III. (Roman number gotta be one sentence defining the third informal norm) A. (One sentence describing the deviance that you did that broke that norm) B. (Two sentences for the reactions. You must include both your own and other peoples’ reactions. In these two sentences you must use at least one term from Goffman’s Dramaturgical Approach)

This assignment is really important for me, I would really appreciate help with this, kind regards.
