Prior to beginning work on this assignment, read the Multiple Intelligences article,
the Expanding Our “Frames” of Mind for Education and the Arts article, and watch
the Different Kinds of Smart: Multiple Intelligences – The Learning Classroom: Turning
Theory into Practice video.
This week’s two assignments will be conducted a bit differently. You will participate in
the brain fitness activity and interlude experiences (Brain Break Activities assignment)
and write your rough draft for the Final Project (Rough Draft assignment)
simultaneously. However, each will be uploaded as a separate assignment for Week 3.
Please follow these directions explicitly as you will learn more about yourself and your
style of learning when you fully participate in this experience. If you have questions,
please ask your professor to clarify any questions you have about these assignments.
First, choose if you would like to take the general test on Lumosity (Links to an external
site.)Links to an external site. or the Braingle IQ test (Links to an external site.)Links to
an external site. (Both require signing up for a free account before taking the test).
Keep detailed notes pertaining to how you feel and what you thought about during and
after this experience as you will need them for writing this assignment.
Once you have completed the brain fitness activity, review the criteria for the Rough
Draft assignment and begin working on that assignment.
Then, as you research and write the Rough Draft assignment, select and listen to one of
these brain break interludes in the background. Numbers 3 & 4 should be listened to as

and during the writing of your Final Paper Rough Draft.
For this assignment, you will write two double-spaced pages on your experiences
participating in the brain fitness activity and interlude while writing your rough draft. This
paper will be based on the notes you took during the brain fitness test and while
listening to the brain break interlude while writing your Rough Draft assignment.
Be as specific as possible using the bullet points below to write this assignment. Provide
a citation for the interlude you chose, and include an APA-formatted title page.
