Welcome to ECO 254! This is a ONLINE class, but some of the components will feel a bit like a LIVE course.
I encourage you to watch the ECO 254 INTRODUCTION VIDEO and read the Syllabus in its entirety! (We go over the syllabus in the first day of class for live sections)
***NOTE: there may be changes since I made the video (April 2019). The current Syllabus is always correct! The video is to help you navigate the content in the course.

These guided tutorials are assignments that are aimed to help you build the skills to become proficient in Excel, as well as complete other assignments.
They are not graded for accuracy, but for completion of the entire assignment. Answers are provided for you to periodically check your work and ensure that you are on the right track.
There are nine and they are due through out the semester per the course schedule.
They are worth 10 points each and in total approximately 9% of your final grade.
These are referred to as both “Excel Tutorials” and “Lab Class Assignments”
Excel Homework
There are three Excel Homework assignments. These are graded for accuracy and worth approximately 15% of your final grade.
Each assignment has a word document detailing what is expected. The “Lesson” is a guided activity that encompasses the exact tasks you will be asked to perform. The Lesson’s answers can be found as an
attached file. The “Exercise” is the portion graded for accuracy. Please follow all steps with tedious precision to avoid deducations.
Some assignments may ask you to open certain files. When applicable, these files will be located with the homework’s instruction document and lesson file.
They are due on Sundays at 4:59pm when assigned.
