The use of the death penalty in Texas and throughout the US is trending downward.  What reasons can be cited for this decline? The rules:  Your answer needs to be no more than 500 words.  There is no specific formatting requirement, like MLA, APA, etc. Treat this as something you would write in the classroom, without the benefit of the Internet.  This means I want no references, bibliographies, works cited, statistical analysis, or any other reference material.  Responses will be checked for plagiarism.  The assignment calls for original writing.  That means your own thoughts and words – and no one else’s.  Upload through BlackBoard.
