Include the following information in your essay: a) a thorough and detailed description of how law enforcement and policing work in the United States; b) describe thoroughly the *one* most critical issue in policing that you believe needs reform. Provide data and statistics on this issue’s impact on the public, on victims, on the courts, corrections, and you may also discuss the impact on police/law enforcement themselves. In other words, why is this issue so critical *right now*? c) include any practices, processes, problems, or concerns that relate to diversity or bias in your police-reform issue; d) Discuss ONE (1) legitimate and well-described solution to this issue, and whether it will be relatively easy to start this change, or if it will be difficult for the system to change in response to this problem (and why).
