Imagine that a Hollywood film producer has decided to create a motion picture about YOUR life. (It could happen!)
The producer needs you to choose the FIVE (and only five, and exactly five) songs/pieces of music that will be used within the soundtrack of the film.
Scoring Rubric:
List and number – the five best songs/pieces of music for the Soundtrack of Your Life = 5 points (Format matters! No block paragraphs. Make it easy to read!)
Write *at least* two sentences (more is better) after each song, telling us why you chose that song. The reasons are the thoughtful part. It’s amazing how many different reasons people give for choosing a specific song. Reasons = 5 points
Embed (preferred) or Link to at least one (more is better) of the songs online. (Could be to a youtube video, or some other site where we can hear that song.) Check your links to be sure they are working. Working Link = 2 points (NOTE: It is best to use either the “Insert/edit Media” tool or the “Link to URL” tool in the formatting toolbar directly above the submission window when you are posting.)
Post a substantial, one-paragraph self-reflection about your experience in completing this assignment. Was it easy? hard? uplifting? depressing? nostalgic? Did it take you a few minutes, or a few days? How did it feel and why? = 4 points
View/listen to a linked song posted by at least two of your classmates, then leave a comment of at least three sentences, (more is better), on at least two of your classmates’ life soundtrack posts. Two substantial comments = 4 points(Include a friendly greeting with their name, and make your first comment on a post that hasn’t received any yet)
