Why do you think people still fascinated by Stonehenge thousands of years after it was built? Give at least 2 reasons for your answer with explanations.
The creation of the Stonehenge is so fascinating, and people are still charmed by it even though it was built thousands of years ago because it’s an important monument of the early Neolithic period and ancient wonders of the world. Where it continuously amazes people until now by how people were able to build these enormous and huge stones especially without technologies and minimal use of advanced tools in a post and lintel construction way of style. I believe that Stonehenge still remains unsolved and mysterious where people keep asking why and how it’s built that’s why it still seems fascinating especially that it was built thousands of years ago where it hard to get reliable information sources about it.
Compare the ancient cities of Rome (Italy) and Teotihuacan (Mexico). Give at least 2 similarities and 2 differences between them and explain why they were both important ancient urban centers.
The ancient Rome (Italy) city looks so urbanized and modern with cramped city buildings designs. In addition, it seems that it’s so familiar to Greek architect and style totally different than Teotihuacan (Mexico) where the city temples look like the Egyptian pyramids and are situated in a rural mountain area with big free lands and space between each building. Both ancient cities of Rome, Italy, and Teotihuacan, Mexico has temples and buildings such as residential compounds and both have planned space for the environment and trees as seen in both pictures even in the cramped city there is space for trees. Both cities are important as Teotihuacan is the city of the gods and Rome is was built in the first few centuries after the birth of Christ which means that both are religiously valued.
