Pick a state, any other state that Mississippi, to examine. Let me know what state you have chosen. You will then track the spread of COVID-19 from when the first case was confirmed, presumptive positive, was, and then you will need to also provide a daily tracking of how many new cases (and deaths) proceeded from that point forward. Since this assignment is now due on April 16, track your state through March 31. Be sure to include demographic date of the state you have chosen, with population figures and existing poor health outcomes and/or mortality rates. Also note where the majority of cases are occurring in relation to the state’s urban or rural-ness. Note what measures, if any, have been taken by the Governor of that state and when. Also be sure to note how these measures changed over the course of this time frame (for example, both Maryland and Virginia Governors provided new measures today in a major announcement). I would also like you to calculate the infection rate and death rate for your state based on the most recently population data available from the US Census (use attached excel sheet)
