Description
Part 1. Research Your first step in putting together your project is to conduct research and define community policing. Obtain 3 scholarly articles that include studies on community policing. One article should include the negatives of community policing verses traditional policing. Based on all your reading, compose a definition of community policing and and the positive and negative aspects of community policing. Provide at least 2 examples for each site. Be sure to include all the stakeholders and their roles. Cite your sources in APA format. Post your definition and source listing to the Module 1: Community Policing Research Paper Discussion Board. Post a suggestion to a peer on what they could add to their definition that would be helpful as they work on their paper. Part 2. Interview Share a general idea of who you would like to interview and indicate why. Additionally, to help your classmates think through the possibilities share some ideas about how they may go about selecting someone in the police system. At this point, you do not have to have a person selected, but you should be narrowing down the type of person you would want to interview. You must start a thread before you can read and reply to other threads
