Module 4: Application Paper 2 Purpose The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to identify and analyze several developmental theoretical perspectives to utilize when assessing the client’s developmental stage. You will distinguish how you, the social worker, may utilize Erickson’s theory of psychosocial development. Further, you will distinguish when considering client social conflict, how you, as the social worker, may utilize sociological theories; when considering social factors that may hinder a client’s access to supportive services; and when considering community organization theories to ensure available community services. Course Outcomes CO 1: Apply person and the environment concepts to social work practice. CO 2: Apply conceptual frameworks and developmental theories in describing human development and behavior for young, middle, and later adulthood.
